Meet Nichole Inya-Agha,  LCSW

I’m a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to helping people navigate through challenges impacting their overall mental health and wellness. My work is grounded in the belief that healing growth happens when we learn to reconnect with our inner strengths, values, and the parts of ourselves that have always been there—even if they’ve felt out of reach.

My journey in the mental health field began in 2012 after graduating from Rutgers School of Social Work and I’ve been a fully licensed clinician since 2016. Over the years, I’ve supported children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of clinical settings, which has given me a deep understanding of how stress, identity, relationships, and environment shape emotional wellbeing. I have a keen ability to understand people within the context of their daily lives—not just their symptoms.

In my private practice, I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, perinatal concerns, and life transitions. I also have a strong passion for supporting clients who feel overwhelmed by overthinking, perfectionism, or difficulty managing emotions. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and strengths-based work.

Therapy with me is not about fixing who you are—it’s about helping you understand yourself more deeply, soften self-criticism, and build practical tools that support real-life change. I strive to create a space that feels warm, steady, and judgment-free, where you can show up as you are and begin to move toward the life you want with more clarity and self-trust.

Outside of my work, I value rest, connection, and creating spaces that feel peaceful and grounding—something I also try to reflect in the therapy room.
